What information do you need before booking?
We usually need the route, the patient’s condition, the medical record if available, and the contact details for the current doctor or hospital and the receiving medical team. Passport and visa details may also be needed for international flights.
Can a family member travel with the patient?
Often, yes. Whether there is room for family accompaniment depends on the aircraft, the patient setup, and the medical team required on board. If family travel is important, we will factor that into the aircraft selection.
Can the patient bring their own doctor or nurse?
A patient’s own doctor or nurse may sometimes be able to accompany the journey, subject to the mission setup and operator approval. The clinical team appointed for the flight remains responsible for onboard medical care.
